Circuitry And Construction
Electrosonic Amplifiers are completely hand wired and constucted. Unless otherwise specified or requested, Electrosonic amplifiers come standard with the following:
Circuitry and chassis:
- Aluminum .050 guage chassis for smaller amplifiers, .080 chassis for larger amplifiers
- PEC and Bourns Pots
- 1/8" thick Garolite/G-10 turret board
- Keystone oversize aluminum standoffs
- Custom oversize Power and output transformers(Hammond, Heyboer, and Mercury Magnetics)
- Belton Tube Sockets
- Carling and NKK switches
- Switchcraft jacks
- Keystone turret lugs
- Belden USA-made solid core 20ga. wire
- Shielded grid inputs, Mil-Spec Teflon Silver wire
- Quiet Star/Buss Ground system
- 4% WBT Silver Solder employed for critical joints
- Ultra fast recovery UF5048 Diodes for solid state rectifiers
- Dale noiseless metal film resistors
- Ohmite and Dale wirewound resistors (values 1-5 watt)
- Aluminum-housed heat sink mounted power supply wirewound resistors (values over 5 watt)
- Sozo polyester film capacitors
- Sprague or Xicon electrolytic fiter supply capacitors
- 14-Ply 3/4" baltic birch baffles w/BB mounting cleats
- Southern Polyurethanes Inc. Epoxy primers, 2K primers and clears
- Auto Air Paints, Transtints Metal Acid dyes, Target Coatings Custom Mixes
- Half Blind Dovetail joinery on All cabinets
- Mil-Spec System Three epoxy adhesives
